Brand identity and digital platform for a sobriety blog that documents the unfiltered realities of early recovery—from day one through the first year—and challenges stereotypes about who alcoholics are. The client, a successful business professional marking one year sober, wanted to fill the narrative gap between “rock bottom” and “five years clean” while showing that addiction doesn’t discriminate by job title or outward success. Delivered full brand system (logo, visual identity), UI/UX design for the blog platform, and social content strategy celebrating honest recovery storytelling.

[al-ko-me] verb

The destructive mix of alcohol and one’s actions, often resulting in regrettable or harmful behavior and consequences.

Social media approach.

Targeted early-stage drinkers (13+) with relatable visuals and copy that acknowledged the fun before confronting the consequences, reaching people in denial before the problem solidifies. Tone stayed accessible to younger audiences while reassuring older demographics that recovery doesn’t have an age limit.
