01

The project.

A publication design project for Carenet Health, turning an approved content draft into a twelve-page strategic guide built to hold a reader's attention across fifteen dense questions.

The content — an approved draft covering the market context, the evaluation framework, and fifteen specific vendor questions — came in dense and unstructured. Twelve pages of that at even weight reads as a wall of text, not a guide anyone finishes.

The design problem was navigation, not decoration: a table of contents, a consistent numbering system, and section breaks that let a reader skip straight to the questions that apply to them.

02

Five of the
fifteen questions.

Every question follows the same shape: the question, then a "What to Look For" checklist, then one line of context.

  • 01

Is the nurse advice line accredited by respected third-party organizations? URAC accreditation, NCQA certification, ongoing quality governance, regular compliance reviews.

  • 02

How does the organization ensure clinical excellence? Registered nurses only, significant acute-care experience, ongoing nurse education, quality monitoring programs.

  • 09

How is member information protected? HIPAA compliance, HITRUST certification, SOC 2 controls, security monitoring, data governance practices.

  • 10

Can the organization demonstrate measurable impact? ED diversion metrics, utilization reduction results, cost avoidance reporting, demonstrated ROI.

  • 15

Can the organization consistently meet service-level expectations? Speed-to-answer performance, callback performance, abandonment rates, scalability metrics.

Five of fifteen — the full set runs credentialing through operations. The complete sequence is in the publication below.

The right partner does more than answer calls.

03

The system.

Twelve pages of B2B healthcare content, held together by three repeating devices instead of one long scroll.

A numbered system carries the fifteen questions in strict sequence, so a reader can drop in at question nine without losing the thread. Alternating navy and white section breaks mark the shift from market context to evaluation framework to close, giving the guide visual checkpoints a plain PDF wouldn't have.

The table of contents up front does real work here — in a document this dense, it's the first thing that tells a buyer this guide respects their time.

05

The result.

A twelve-page B2B guide that reads like a reference tool, not a document someone has to force themselves through.

Paired with the six-page case study, it's a demonstration of the same design instinct at two different scales — a short-form proof point and a long-form reference piece, both built to survive contact with a busy reader.
