The Rightshoring
Solution Playbook

A publication design project for Carenet Health, turning an approved content draft on healthcare rightshoring into a seven-page playbook built to move a skeptical reader toward a conversation.

The content came in as an approved draft, the case for rightshoring, the common misconceptions, the numbers behind the pitch. My job was the art direction: the photography, the type, the color, the composition that turns a dense pitch into something worth opening. It held up well enough that the same visual system carried a companion playbook after this one.

Most B2B healthcare ebooks reach for the same visual shorthand: bright primary colors, a stock photo of someone smiling at a laptop, a clip-art icon standing in for an actual idea. I wanted this one to look like something a health system exec would trust enough to keep open.

The photography is the first decision: dark, near-black water instead of the sunlit-office cliché. Rightshoring is a pitch about going deeper and further, so the imagery carries that instead of contradicting it. The cover headline mixes weights on purpose, bold against light, so the eye lands on the words that matter without a single line being set in all caps or a bigger point size to do the shouting for it.

Inside, full-bleed navy and red section breaks interrupt the white content pages at every argument shift, the model itself, the ROI case, objection handling. That's a color and composition choice before it's an organizational one: restraint everywhere except the moments that are meant to stop the reader, and confidence in a narrow palette instead of reaching for more colors to fill the space.
