Powering the Business
of Healthcare

A fourteen-page enterprise playbook. Daylight photography, a stat system built to be scanned, and one deliberate break from the grid saved for the very last page.

01

The project.

A fourteen-page publication design project for Carenet Health, the longest piece in the same ebook line as The Rightshoring Solution, built to cover five distinct business arguments without losing the reader by page eight.

The content came in as an approved draft, five sections' worth of enterprise positioning. My job was the art direction: the photography, the recurring stat system, and the single moment near the end where the whole grid deliberately breaks.

The art
direction.

Five sections, one recurring headline device: a plain black label followed by a single bold word in red, "Defined," "AI-Powered," "Informed," "Optimized." The payoff word carries the whole idea before the reader has read a sentence of body copy.

Every stat in the piece sits inside the same component: a small rounded icon badge, a large number set in a light display weight, a short label underneath. Repeating that one shape dozens of times across fourteen pages is what makes a document this dense feel scannable instead of exhausting, the eye learns the pattern by page three and starts finding numbers by shape alone.

The photography stays in daylight: pale blue skies, hands on a phone, a clinician mid-conversation. That's a deliberate departure from the Rightshoring piece's dark water treatment in the same ebook line, different argument, different mood, the same brand carrying both without repeating itself.

The grid holds for thirteen pages straight. On the last one, it breaks: a red diagonal curve cuts across the closing panel, the only non-rectilinear shape in the entire document. Saving the one unexpected move for the final page is what makes it read as an ending, not a decoration.
